Code Geass
« on: February 12, 2011, 10:37:16 pm »
Talk about all your fun and obsessed Code Geass madness here!  How awesome was Lelouch? How sad for Suzaku?  What is this madness?  OMG, I love the first opening of R2?!?!  You'll find all that here and more!
And for that opening: (It's backwards for legal reasons)

Don't forget World End!

Oh, and Lelouch Vi Britannia commands you, now all of you, watch this show!

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

It's been quite a while since I posted here last...

Anyway, I felt I had to bump this to say just how good of a show this was.

Code Geass is the anime that got me into anime. It has great characters that you grow to love, then they get ripped away from you, either by death or some emotional trauma. This contributes even more to the overwhelmingly powerful story. I still get a little sad thinking about Lelouch and everything he gave up, even though I haven't watched a single episode of this show in months. The ending was the only moment I almost cried from watching a show. The story becomes even more powerful when backed up by the beautiful musical score that accompanies this show.
The raw emotion, the characters, the rich story, the bits of comedy sprinkled in (such as CC's pizza obession)... It is a masterpiece of a show.

I highly suggest that any anime fan who has not seen this show watch it. It is truly beautiful.

note that there are some "interesting" scenes, but it's very very nice.  The only one I recommend on par with that is Death Note.  They are booth very nice.  (Although the manga was better for Death Note, and I haven't read the manga for Code Geass. I want to read nightmare of nunally.)

Nightmare of Nunally... Is that the one where Nunally gets Geass too? If so, I wanna read that as well. I also wanna read Suzaku of the Counterattack. I have Volume 7 of the regular manga, and I think it's pretty good.

Yes, yes it is.

No, THE game.

Also, just to satisfy my otaku and anime loving tendencies, ignore this epic randomness:
<Puts on Announcer hat>
And in this corner, weighing in at 170 lbs. we have the amazing (I have to say this or else he'll kill me) Raito Yagami!.  Also known as Kira! And in this corner, weighing in at 150 lbs, we have the superb (did he force me to say that?) Lelouch Lamerouge, a.k.a. Zero!  Who will win? Lelouch with his Geass or Raito with his intelligence.  Or maybe Raito will resort to the shinigami eyes!
<Takes of announcer hat>

Also, FinaleTI, did you notice that one of the main characters of TAO is raito...
