It sucks those sites got shut down I wouldn't be surprised if another site with the mangas hosted opened elsewhere, though. I personally do not read mangas much anymore, though.
I'm not much of a manga reader either, but if I read one, I would look for the printed books, just for the lfeeling of having books you have to read from the wrong side (from a westerner view).For instance, this summer, I went to a big 3-story library, I ended up in the manga section after being lost in computer science and laws books, was kinda fun.

Sometimes people are too impatient to see the ending.
