Soul Eater
« on: March 03, 2011, 05:47:57 pm »
Anyone else here watch Soul Eater?
I just started about 2 weeks ago, and I've seen the first 11 episodes so far, which is more than enough to know how awesome this show is.

I absolutely love Death the Kid and his symmetry obsession, and Dr. Stein, because he's just so eccentric and awesome at the same time.
And you can't forget Excalibur, whose legend dates back to the 12th century!

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

I'm starting it now. The opening looks rather epic.

I've been busy, plus I've been watching a few other shows as well (Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist)

I've been busy, plus I've been watching a few other shows as well (Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist)
Death Note == awesome manga, needs a better anime.
Bleach == Awesome anime, not so awesome fillers, good manga but it's getting strange.
Naruto == Clueless awesome ninja, 22 episode long filler, and an awesome manga.
Fullmetal Alchemist == Awesome manga, sad it's gone, slightly strange in ways.  It's on my "to watch" list for anime.  I just haven't gotten around to it as it is 2 separate things and not based on the manga.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is much closer to the manga. And yeah, the manga's awesome. I've read the first 23 volumes.

I've also been watching Shakugan no Shana Second (second season of Shakugan no Shana).
And Shakugan no Shana is an awesome show!

Well, the first season or so of episodes of the original FMA should be fairly close, too. The reason they diverged was because the anime caught up. Brotherhood, as I've heard, portrays the first parts differently though, and not as compressed.

I've half assed tried learning on and off. I can pick out pieces of conversations, but not much unfortunately. D: Maybe one of these days... :)

Lucky. I wish my school offered Japanese.
But they don't, so I have to teach myself. And I've been focusing on my German class lately, as I need to make sure I pass that. Then, I should be able to focus on Japanese again.
