20x20 enemy sprite, critique.

well, here he is. is there anything different you would do to him? pretty soon i'll get him a running animation.

oh
in that case..
His head doesn't really match the body(at least, that's what I think). Fix the head a bit(like color his head to greyish color)?

no I think that 'eye thing' is cool in the middle, it's a very simple sprite, but hey it looks cartoony so cool :)

his legs look like a graphed slop in my math textbook, maybe give him knees and make them bent.  the arms are ok.  the head maybe widen but keep the eye thing the same it's cool :)

I like the eye, but his boxy head doesn't match his more curved body.

Nice! I would make the head a bit more round, like other said, though.

I think you should probably either make the shoulders less square or the body wider. They seem a  little mismatched :)

changes made. i tried to implement most of what you guys asked for an added a little extra too, i think it turned out well. it's 18 pixels wide and 20 tall (the attachment says 20 wide, but those are just 2 transparent columns). now to get a running animation out of him... by the way, i didn't implement bent legs because it's hard to show bent legs when the sprite is standing with his shoulders squared towards you.

I would make the head corners curve, probably 'cos I prefer it that way.

edit: i just realized i'm being inconsistent with my leg-shading. fixed that.
edit2: and i'm lacking the light gray belt in some of them. fixed.
