Another one. I realized I needed a Yu-Gi-Oh! based one. So... here it is.
Avatar

Not my best work... but good enough. ^^
Tried a couple of new things and the text gave me so much trouble... I usually have a darker background so getting anything to look right was a pain.
Oh well, all-in-all a good learning experience.

I'm actually almost done. This one was WAY harder because I didn't have a render, I just used the picture
here
.
Want a matching avatar? (also, what name do you want on it?)

It's when the background is cut out.

Calc84maniac is correct. More precisely, a render is a character, creature, item, etc without a background.
Used heavily in graphic design due to how easy it is to place anywhere you want and then manipulate.
As for the request... here ya go. (I had a bit too much fun with the fire. Sorry. ^^;)

Those look nice, although they seem a little too bright for me. (Remember that my opinion means absolutely nothing if you don't like it.

Oh, they're WAY too bright for me. I never work with anything this bright.
Still... it was a nice set of attempts. Thought I'd try something new. I'm just too dark all the time. =P
(They look pretty good on darker skins though. The contrast just works.)
