Sure, why not. Do you have some graphical ideas, palettes or constraints? I understood that you go for 16*16.
Yup, I need sprites in 16x16 size, .png format.
Here are the main things I still need (In order of importance)
Houses (Multiple building tiles, see the most recent posts here:

Trees (2x2, 3x2, 3x2 or 3x3, what ever works best for you) Something like the trees from GBC Legend of Zelda, but not exactly the same
Chests: Open and closed
You can check out the art in the thread I linked ^ for style. Note the dull browns and greens, with a kind of LoZ/Final Fantasy Art.
