it would, for now, be 32x32, 16x16, and 8x8 of a dwarf, elf, orc, and human. I'll be fine with those for now.

32x32 ?? Is this a 68K game or is that for like a portrait of the person/drawf/... when they are talking?? I may take a stab at this.

yeah, the 32x32 would prob. be better if it was just the top half (for when they are talking). I haven't decided what i want to do yet.

Dwarf with crazy side wiped hair:
Dwarf with normal hair:
Elf:
These are only my first try attempts at the 16x16 sprites. I am not good with 8x8 but I will take a shot at 32x32. Should be a good experience.

heres 8x8 dwarf(axe),human(sword),elf(wand/scepter),orc(hammer thing). if you want then i could change the orcs weapon to something else, i couldnt think of a good weapon for him. i think i could change any weapon except the axe, that dwarf was a pain.

thanks a million to both of you. I've already started implementing both of your sprites.

Yeah thanks. I took a shot at the 32x32 and its pretty difficult. Ill keep trying though and if I get any progress I will at least post a semi-complete sprite for the elf. I am just having a lot of trouble with his ears.
Also do you want one with his mouth open, one with it closed, and one in transition or something for talking??

Alright, here is a display of an elf I made in the last 10 minutes. BTW, the two ugly things coming out of his shoulders are arrows (on the left) and a bow (on the right).
