What would be a Club Manager? I see two huge brackets and Chess pawns scattered between them. ???
As in a program to manage an organization.
Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.

Crosspost, but seriously: make this, CSE coders!

2 wide pixels, basic colors and just 3 colors+1transparent per tile.

I contemplated porting my old Metroid game when xLIB comes out, but:

1) it will be god-awful slow and unresponsive (unless xLIB sprites are much faster than xLIB 0.Xa)
2) if xLIB CSE lacks scanline mode, pixels will be 2x2 rather than 2x1, meaning 8x8 sprites and tiles.

I don't think that a playable metroid game can be made in basic on a cse. The metroid games are not very responsive on the regular monochrome calcs and the cse has a slower screen. The mockup can be replicated using basic, but it will be slow I think. especially with vertical scrolling.

Edit: I changed the colors to the c64 palette and did this little photoshop thing to showcase it on a monitor.

Yeah the issue tho is that nobody will ever bother to take on such large and overwhelming project in ASM, else we would have seen a brand new 83+ ASM Metroid game completed far long ago. To happen we will need Grammer, Axe or very hackish BASIC+xLIB tricks.

Idea of what an xlibcse-ized version of Nemesiat could look like (that doesn't use the other tiles I posted, but still using old colorized graphics of mine). Map is 10x8 like the original game, but is basically a 20x15 map that includes HP/MP/LV :P and the HUD was moved from the right to the bottom with no border. I have no clue from what the gray tiles were ripped from anymore, but I bet there is Mega Man and RPG Maker stuff in there. The dungeon layout is not from the game, so this is why all maps are the same, but the game has 4 dungeon and a 2-part forest (trees all die after clearing most dungeons):

Looks awesome! Here it is in xLIB colours just so you can see:

"My world is Black & White. But if I blink fast enough, I see it in Grayscale."

Does anyone have the xLIBc color pallette in image format? I need it so I can make my mockups with those colors.

Sure, here is the colour table:

"My world is Black & White. But if I blink fast enough, I see it in Grayscale."

Seems nice. I worried about the lack of grays but then I saw your rendition of my screenshots and it doesn't look that bad.

Do you still plan a converter for tilesets? What I think is that they should maybe be layered out in 1 or more rows of sprites then people save as BMP, GIF or PNG, then drag and drop over a batch file you made or something.

As for tiles they just need to have a width/height that is divisible by 8 (since tiles are 8x8). I usually use 128x64 sized images.
