Wow those two mockups are really great Eiyeron! O.O Keep in mind that there's already a Rogue-like on the 84+ now, tho, by Phero, but it could be used for different stuff as well. Also that last screenshot is just epic. If you have the sprite sheet, maybe the tiles could be colorized with 84+CSE colors in case someone wanted to make a color game?

Anyway, here's how Id like to see the HUD atm (and what should look a dungeon with the finished state if I can set up the doors...

EDIT : Welp, I used the tileset and the DawnBringer 32 color palettes (the one I used for my circular house), and well... Many of its colros are perfectly mixable into beautiful 4-color palettes.

I played with it for like 10 minutes with the same map I did! :3

Haha thanks. Idea: make a full colored ruleset from this. I have the palette if you're interested.

Nicest thing of this: more than one color combination is possible!

Heh, hell no! Don't to get that. I don't want to have too a bad layout... Problmes I never have to solve before are hard...

EDIT : I did this to show to someone how his tileset should look on  a calc. THat's almost useless because it's too big to be really enjoyable but this, my friends, this is truly magnificient...
It's not my tileset, but WTFPOTATO, it's beautiful!

Dunno who did those sprites, but they look great. :D Same goes for OMFG.gif.

I really like those tiles. Making adventure games is a lot of work though. Herocore took me several weeks just to get the engine done. It is already 12k in size excluding the world map. It is easy enough to make any kind of adventure game using this engine as long as it does not use scrolling (because I have not implemented that)
If you like my work: why not give me an internet?
