saving as gif in photoshop cs 5.5?
« on: August 01, 2011, 08:14:28 pm »
It seems when I go to file->save as in photoshop cs 5.5 I do not see the CompuServ GIF option listed under file formats. I absolutely NEED to save my file as gif as there is transparency involved and TIFF will not work.

edit: I had the image in 16 bit, chaged to 8 bit and gif option appeared. Weird. THIS TREAD CAN BE NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKED :P

Loved this place, still the best producers of power metal, and sparked my dreams of coding.

simpler way. just choose save for web in the files dialog. this needs to be done for animated gifs ^_^ and it allows better compression/other things.

If you're going to keep discussing this, maybe the topic should be unlocked. :P
