I have been trying to learn, how to program a raycaster, but it has evaded me. If you know a good tutorial, or you know how to program one, Please post back. I would appreciate it if you did. Thanks.

I learned from
this tutorial
when I made
YAAR (Yet Another Axe Raycaster)
. Both could be useful resourses to learn how raycasting works. The source code for YAAR is the last file attached to the first post if you want to peek at it.

I remember when I was trying to make one. It felt like I was the first one trying to invent it because I didn't have any resources.

I wonder if the Lua one Chokosta used could be useful too or if the fact it's in Lua could cause issues? Not sure where is it anymore, though.
Also welcome back Zeldaking, I thought you left us completely or something.

Well, that is true I haven't been on for a while. Thanks for those resources, if I figure this out I will get a screenshot.

Hey, once I am done with my current projects I plan to make a 3d racing game. I have a really thrifty Idea for the engine - where should I post it?
