I actually wonder why didn't TI implement those (as well as Text(-1 big fonts) in a more user-friendly way and documented those tricks. I mean, it's not like any harm could have been caused if everyone had access to those functions, plus if anyone would pull off the argument about how with {i circles aren,t as accurate I would say it shouldn't really matter much considering how blocky the calc LCD is in the first place
I wouldn,t be surprised if TI-BASIC hidden more secrets than this. To find all of them, someone would need to disassemble the OS and scout all its code for potential BASIC tricks (or glitches).

please post the collision detection installment ASAP! i've been messing around with this (getting points to jump, then text, then text sprites.. etc.) but i can't figure out for the life of me how to use pxl-Test( to get a pixel to jump onto a higher platform.

Please be patient. I'm sure Builderboy will get to this when he has time. I'm fairly sure he has had school stuff lately (such as AP tests I believe) and other things. Just keep experimenting in the mean time.
An idea though is to have it test the pixel 2 pixels below the character. I can elaborate on that, maybe, if you want.

sorry if i seemed impatient, i'm just really excited to do something with jumping because when i started programming i couldn't figure out how to (without using a billion if-thens and goto/lbls). Take your time builderboy, i'm only excited.

It's ok, I understand what ya mean. It just seemed to come off as a little rude is all. But like I said just keep experimenting. One thing you can do is ask for help from people here. Like make code that works and then ask for optimization help. We like helping people when we can

Yeah I am working on this lesson, but I have been busy for the past few weeks with AP testing so progress has been slow. That and this lesson is very long
Collision is a big topic. But it is being worked on! Along with Portal and other projects
