There is absolutely no reason anyone should touch 0.0.1 outside of historical reference. I doubt the source code has more than 5% left over from it.

I think Crabcake no longer works on newer versions too, right? Does Irene allows everything Crabcake did?

Oh yeah I always mess that up, because both are close and I do remember working outdoor in the middle of Irene x.x

I personally use 0.0.1
No, I would actually recommend the latest version because normally in each version the know bugs are fixed and new stuff are added.
And people who make stuff like Zedd should update their program and not let you downgrade to and older version of AXE.:P (Btw, Zedd apparently still works with the latest version)

Crabcake and Fullrene are both tools to allow programs to run that exceed the 8811-byte limit.

Essence compiles fine for me in 1.0.5 and it uses it..
(the 83pbe-safe mode at least, idk about the faster mode)
