Oh no problem, since the project is still alive actually ^^
As for shooters there are good ones like Phoenix and Galaxian, but they are really simple compared to CaDan, but remember back in 2000 galaxian and phoenix were the best 83+ games out there
Now CaDan takes calc shoot-em-ups to a whole new level
As for basic grayscale you need to use xLIB or Celtic III. You can also use Omnicalc Sprite( function but it's much slower. I would recommend against grayscale if you haven't mastered all rudimentary TI-BASIC tricks and commands, though, because it can be complicated. It took me 3 years after starting calc programming to release a BASIC grayscale game. Otherwise, if you feel like giving it a try, there are some different tutorials in the downloads section. I would recommend Nitacku's grayscale utility and checking some guides there.

ahh okay. yeah, i started programming like 6 months ago, so i only have a small arsenal of commands i'm really confident with.
i have xLIB installed on my calc, but i'm not really sure how to use it xD what is it used for?

it's one of these apps that adds new commands to the TI-BASIC language. It requires mastering most TI-BASIC rudimentary tricks before usage, though, since it can be a bit hard for beginners/intermediate coders. Basically you can make a BASIC game look like an ASM or Axe Parser one, just with the slow speed of TI-BASIC.
You need to read the readme for more information and keep a copy nearby when coding because I myself always had to open it since I was never able to remember most commands syntaxes

it might be your internet browser settings or you might have messed something up on your computer
What browser are you using? Because I never heard of this problem before. Could you tell in more details what error do you get and if right-click and save as works?

Strange, and unfortunately, nope
Are you running as administrator?
If so, you might have to ask on a computer forum about your Windows version, or ask here in the general discussion. A bunch of people could maybe be able to awnser
Or maybe try in IE or Opera just as a test?

cool to hear
Btw what was your problem? It might be worthy to know if this ever happened to someone else here (altough maybe it won't since it's the first time I hear about it
, but again, on my old computer, I have trouble downloading mods from SMF website. They turn in mp3 files instead of zips), altough it might be a bit offtopic

xD THAT is weird. but yeah, it was just my computer's security settings acting up. my dad is virus-paranoid (the reason we switched from windows-xp to Ubuntu), and only allowed downloading of files from TIcalc.org. so i went into cmd and changed the settings to allow this site too.
don't worry, there's like a 1 in 1000000 chance that someone else will have the same thing happen

Ouch
, I remember some ppl were like that, except the difference is that they thought Firefox/Linux were viruses too or that they were dangerous to get any, and despite explaining them they would remain stubborn.
Anyway glad it's fixed now ^^

Haha, thats nothing. I just had somebody comment on one of my java games protesting that he would not download the source because Java was a virus
It could erase the C folder :O

I really love this game. Actually, Netham45 was easier: just use the bombs when you are close to death, so I beat Netham45 in hard but only medium with DevBlock.
When are you going to continue this project?
