You can pretty much omit the yet in long terms. In fact, the only way it would get on the table is if TI and/or Casio announced they are dropping out of the calculator market in direct response to the said tools, which is not likely to happen. Or of course if a long sites war occured again as a direct result from Omni allowing them and we were once again labeled as a site that encourages cheating in tests and threatening our relationship with Casio, and in such case they would only be temporarily disallowed or different ways would be found to try to eradicate the sites war. But that's getting off-topic, so it might be better left for another topic.

Haha I remember switching cases was very popular in the community and even IRL. People would fit a TI-89 in their 83+ case. I wouldn't be surprised too if there were people who ever sold TI-73, new gen 82 or 83 calcs inside 83+ (or even 86 or 89) cases, trying to pass them off as more expensive models.
