Casio Prizm Facebook Page
« on: August 02, 2011, 10:29:30 pm »
The Prizm is now on Facebook!!!  ;D I created a page a few days back and it can be found here
I've been keeping the wall updated lately with important announcements regarding the Prizm. The info page still needs some work on though. Over the next few weeks I'll be expanding on it to make things more interesting. The focus will not only be on games and programs but also education and promotions as it is a general Prizm page and targeted at anyone who is interested in or uses the device. Please stop by and like the page

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

My page pretty much announces stuff from the official casio education page while also doing stuff like programs and everything thing else that is third party. And with the petition my school is currently in 3rd place ;D

Ah ok I see. I think it would be nice to continue posting Prizm advancement news on our front page, though. I noticed things have been slower on that point since my retirement. It would be nice to have news there too, though.

I hope the petition gets signed a lot. I kinda wish it was not just for American schools, though.

I think the reason the petition is US only is because it is hosted by the American Casio division. And a lot of the stuff I put on that page will actually come from omni whether I or someone else posted it. In the latter case I always make sure I credit the original poster

Ah ok, well I meant we need to not quit posting news about the Prizm here. For example, Martin Poupe's video player took a week before making it to front page here, IIRC.

That said I could start helping again with news in the near future, although that would definitively greatly affect my forum activity for a long while.
