Golf Tour 2011 CASIO Edition
« on: September 21, 2011, 07:23:44 pm »
boot2490 has been nagging me to start my own thread (he must think I'm making his thread too long  :D). So here it is. Golf Tour 2011 CASIO Edition. Post your criticism, nags, and gripes here. I'll read them and integrate them into the game.

So far, here are the specs:

Language: CASIO-BASIC (or LuaFX, we'll see)
Mode: Graph
Level Editor: Yes

I'll post other specs when I think of them.

Good job! I love your ambition. I will let you know when I have a solid shot calculation algorithm down if you want yours to have similar physics.
I'm not worried about SOPA creating censorship, that will not stand for long. I'm worried that they'll succeed in stopping piracy!

Yeah! I have my idea for the map drawing part done. I've been wondering how to do the physics. Have you figured that out yet?

I have, but i will let you know when I have a solid algorithm. How about during school tomorrow? I will be on around 11:00. As long as I get it done.

The Casio version will be based on the TI version.

You know, this would be interesting on the prizm..is this Basic, asm or not decided yet?

I'm no good at asm, so it will either be BASIC or luaFX. I think I'll make a BASIC version first.

This idea seems to be very infective! (In a good connotation) I am glad to have sparked such an interest. And I am very glad that fisch loved my idea enough to make a clone before I even startd mine :P although, I have been planning it for like a year...
And although it is not TI vs CASIO, One will probably be better than the other. Other than that it is at most a friendly race.

Yup! Just a friendly race, although, boot's will probably be better than mine. I saw golf and thought to myself, " duh! nobody has made this for a casio calc? why not?" and instead of thinking too much about that, I just decided I'd make it for casio. Besides, I thought, there isn't much activity in casio devleopement, especially BASIC, so now i'm officially doing it.

P.S. Boot: part of the reason I didn't want to make a thread was that it would mean I wouldn't really be able to back outta this. But don't worry, I'm dedicated now. :D
