Hopefully not, but I wouldn't put much faith in it.

I actually thought of porting Runescape to the TI calc at one point. A far less detailed one, obviously.

X.x lol ok. It would actually be nice if one of the TI RPG was ported but with updated graphics. I would like to see a SNES style RPG, but with 16 bit graphics.

Sounds like we need to write a z80/TI-BASIC interpreter for the Prizm...

An alternative to C would be nice. Some people dislike C/ASM and prefer Axe/basic syntax, but they dislike the slow speed of BASIC. Maybe a compiler?

Maybe, but the extra speed of the Prizm's processor would make most games impossible to play compiled  :P

I really hope the C compilier (if it is released :P) will be available to download even if you don't own the calculator.  I would love to be able to port some of my games to full color! :D

Seriously, color on a calc is an amazing idea that should have been done already. What are the dimensions of the screen, though?

DJ, no truer words spoken! ;D

Even if not, porting S.A.D. to color is something that someone would have my permission to do.

216x384.

BTW: Color has already been done before. Two byte colors have not.

Was there any color calculator that had more than 4 colors?

The only color calcs there were before were the CFX series, which had blue, orange and green. ANother model had blue, orange, green and black, I think, but it's more rare.

I don't think colours are important for a calculator, at least, not as many as the Prizm, 8 colours are enough and their only importance is the graph system, so that each function can have its own colour :)
