Slope and Yint
« on: October 24, 2012, 08:37:07 pm »
I know this forum is mostly for programming games and stuff, but does anyone here know how to solve slope and y-int for Casio Prizm for an equation like "2x-y=1"? If so, I will be so grateful.  :evillaugh:

I'm asking this because there are so many insane features that this calculator has that almost never is found on calculators.  XD :ninja:

I'm not sure about the built in functionality, but applying math knowledge, you can do:
2x-y=1
y=2x-1
y'=2=slope

And y-intercept is when x=0, so 2*0-y=1, y=-1.

That works but if possible, I would like to hear about built-in functionality for the high volume of problems my teacher is throwing at my class (and most people have simple scientific calcs, lol) Maybe a program I can download?
