PRIZM Emu
« on: December 31, 2010, 05:34:54 pm »
Wow this subforum is growing fast
Anyway, does anyone know if Casio is planning to release an emulator?  Also, would it be possible to easily port games from TIs to the PRIZM?  There are just too many good games on ti just to let them go away.
And if ccasio isn't making an emu, how hard would it be to make a third party one?

The Game is only a demo, the code that allows one to win hasn't been done.

We'd need something like ti83plus.inc to make one, do we have?

I *think* we need, sorry. I believe we need to know ALL Tokens to make an emulator.

You don't need tokens. The emulator emulates the hardware, the hardware runs the OS, and the OS handles everything else. However, making an emulator would still be very hard, since we need to know a lot about the hardware.

Can we remove the OS from the calculator? Is it a single file (example: .tno files)

No, my first post meant how to make an emu and how similar the languages are, not make an emu that changes the languages

The processor used by the Prizm seems to be very different from Z80.

I thougt you meant we needed the ti one.  :P
