The spam level has become incredibly high, and it's getting pretty hard to keep up. I think we have to disable registrations, even though it makes it much harder for new legit users to join. There simply aren't many other options that could work. Any opinions on this?

We can disable registrations and tell new users to PM any admin to get an account like we did on Axe Wiki.

Thanks! I've added a note to the main page (maybe it needs some clarification about how to contact us?), and I'll probably get started on removing the old spam pages this weekend now that there aren't going to be any new pages to remove.

Good news. I think it's the only way to kill spam. You should have a red notice on the front page like WikiTI had telling people how to get an account.

Yeah but it has been down for days and the guy isn't answering, and it happens quite often. Also given what I heard earlier today (apparently the hosting was now free or the guy didn't mind offering it for free) this means the person who gave juju 57o9 shouldn't be taken for granted, because you know how unreliable free hosts can be x.x.

I would say maybe move to something cheap like Alberthrocks has and maybe juju can do a backup of everything there and point the domain name there so nothing is lost and no URL change occurs.

I'M definitively thinking about getting a new host, though, because this is not the first time that 57o9 and julosoft go down for long periods of time and Julosoft even went down for half a year once.
