Not right now. He isn't here right now. Is there some kind of 'portable' version of one of those browsers dhat don't need a full install (or of which all traces can be easly removed so he'll never find out)?
My projects
 - The Lost Survivors (Unreal Engine) ACTIVE [GameCommandoSquad main project]
 - Oxo, with single-calc multiplayer and AI (axe) RELEASED (screenshot) (topic)
 - An android version of oxo (java)  ACTIVE
 - A 3D collision detection library (axe) RELEASED! (topic)(screenshot)(more recent screenshot)(screenshot of it being used in a tilemapper)
Spoiler For inactive:
- A first person shooter with a polygon-based 3d engine. (z80, will probably be recoded in axe using GLib) ON HOLD (screenshot)
 - A java MORPG. (pc) DEEP COMA(read more)(screenshot)
 - a minecraft game in axe DEAD (source code available)
 - a 3D racing game (axe) ON HOLD (outdated screenshot of asm version)

I believe there are portable versions for Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera that can be run of off a usb drive -- a quick google search should pull them up.
My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

Specifically, here for Windows and here for Macs.

Thanks. I also found out where it had hidden itself, so I can easly delete it.

Now, let's go back on topic.

Chrome actually installs pretty sneakily. It's install directory is %User Folder%\AppData\local\Google\Chrome. Which means that if you delete the shortcut in the start menu, he'll never know it's on the computer. If he's more tech savvy, and he knows about C:\Program Files\, then he'll just see the Google folder, and if he knows anything about the internet, he won't put much thought into it. (It will most likely just contain the GoogleUpdater.)

Edit:
The only thing I don't like about portable apps is that a lot of them can't update.

Edit 2:
Nevermind, I forgot about the Add/Remove Programs menu.

I'm afraid that I can't support IE6 at all. In fact, I don't support anything less than IE9. IE8 and lower have some rather crippling bugs, and have been known not to work properly with OmnomIRC for some time.

There are mini versions of OmnomIRC available, though. Check out http://www.omnimaga.org/iOmnom_Mini/, and if you're on an incredibly old browser(IE4-, Opera 5-,old versions of netscape, etc...), http://www.omnimaga.org/iOmnom_Mini_dev/ .

Firefox updates wonderfully - I've just updated Firefox 6 to Firefox 7, without any hitch. It also has an "incognito" mode, if you need it.

Now Chrome, on the other hand... :P There's a dedicated Chrome update program (3rd party) if you really want to use Chrome. I don't have any link, but I'm sure it's easy to find. :)

That's what I love about Portable Firefox -- you just tell it to install at the same location as before, and it updates perfectly, keeping everything intact that can remain intact.

or if IE fails you, you can just use efnet.org, mibbit, etc. It's less buggy and kinda faster in my opinion.

I've always liked running liberkey, when I used portableapps you always needed admin rights to update/install anything on the flash drive :P

What's been going on with omnom in general, tho?  Is it just a rocky period of bugs and bugfixes or something?

Edit: I've temporarily switched to chrome until this is fixed...is it known why the input box sometimes disappears? Ninja'd by a new topic :P

I did a mini-update with a slightly updated update engine to try to save a bit of bandwidth. Omni used a bit more than I was accounting for last month.
