Well... sometimes viruses won't get detected until like 6 months later, though, or sometimes Adware will detect stuff, but not Avast/AVG. That said, I hope you don't use Norton, though, which is pretty much a virus by itself.

All virus software is like a virus IMHO.  That's why I don't have virus software on my computers.  I usually handle all issues myself.

I have linux, and that helps a lot I have windows for when I need it, but I usually don't.

@DJ: I can, if we don't get this solved. Even if I do, though, I still want to find out why it's bugged out for Ashbad, it could possibly be affecting other users too, though I haven't heard any other reports.

Well in some cases it can be a bit helpful for those who are less tech-savy and get caught by searching stuff on Google. Just falling on a shutted down French site that changed into a squatter domain page can get you a virus. However, when searching info for your next essay, you don't know that the link you're about to click is filled with malware.

Same thing if a site you frequent gets hacked. People got viruses on WikiTI after all...

That said, if you avoid clicking links to sites you don't trust you should be fine most of the time.

I added an option to toggle colored names, so this is no longer needed.

EDIT: I don't know if this is because of the colored names, but I switched it on, typing didn't worked. Switched it off, typing still didn't work.
I tried another browser and I still have the same problem: Everything I type in omnomirc isn't displayed.

I was wondering if it was possible to...
A) have the nicks in color but without bold
B) change own nick color.  I keep thinking I'm highlighted b/c my nick is bright red

If not A, then
C) less intense colors would be great

Try clearing your cache first, then if that doesn't work, Try hitting the english/french button on top a couple times
