I'm sorry, but the lay-out of your post makes it quite hard to read, so it's possible that I misunderstood some parts.

It would make it easyer for you to find a team if you give some essential information. Try to answer the following questions:
 - What is the platform? Action/adventure rpg is a genre, not a platform. If it's for PC, then the platform is most lickely windows, linux or mac.
 - What programming languare are you using?
 - Fantasy isn't very concrete. What will be the theme of your game? Do you already have a storyline? What kind of characters/NPC's/monsters will there be?
 - What style of graphics will it be? Do you want realistic graphics? Or do you want cartoonish graphics? Or something else?
 - How far are you currently? Did you already start coding? Or are you still planning?
 - What will the gameplay be like? What will a player do in your game? Will it be based mostly on training, or on finishing quests, or on gathering resources...?

If the game is written in a programming language that I know, I might join as a coder.

Do you already have experience with 3d programming? If you don't, I suggest to do 2d games first as they're easier to manage. What programming language are you planning to write this game in?
You are starting you want to write an rpg, do you already have a storyline? Just some questions to axially understand what you want as it isn't really clear.
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

Note that this is a quite important part, since people tend to join game projects only after the author has either written 30% of the code (or at least the entire engine) or once the entire game is finished planning, including storyline, items, most monsters and even map data.

I am assuming no, because if he/she did, they would probably give more details...  Either that or they were in a serious rush.  ;)
My name is Josh and I a developer at Moonzean. I enjoy Radiohead, web development, Java, and cryptograms.
Spoiler For No Surprises, by Radiohead:
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal

You look so tired unhappy
Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us

I'll take a quiet life
A handshake of carbon monoxide

And no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
Silent, silent

This is my final fit
My final bellyache

With no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please

Such a pretty house
And such a pretty garden

No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please
