Currently I am in the workings of building my own mud... This is the first of many mud projects that I am planning in the coming year. The mud in it's early stages may be access by telnet to shallamar.ath.cx 1234 you will need to make a log in name and such still though it is a very rewarding thing for me. If you would like to help with this and know a bit about LPC Coding and such please send me a private message and I will get back to you asap. Thank you

Cool that you're working on a Telnet mud. Tried to connect and it asked me for a log in name but I couldn't type anything in.
If it's of any help, I'm using Windows XP SP 3.

Most times during a telnet connection to a MUD with Command Prompt, it will not show the text though will accept it. A good program to use is ZMUD or CMUD both can be found at this link the first 30 days are free.

This is nice, it reminds me a lot Medieva, on which TI-Freakware TI-City RPG is based on. I was not too much into text RPGs and mmorpgs but I shall try this when I get some free time
Would Putty works for this?

Hey Everyone, just giving an update to the LPC Mud Shallamar, we are down for some recoding issues and fixing some stuff on the main driver of the game. We should be back up to the public in the next month or so. Sorry for any problems this may cause to members of the Mud and people wishing to join the coding team for the mud. We wish you well from Shallamar.

(I was very, very very very tempted to vote the last option in the poll)
Glad it's going back soon. You should host it on your new computer. It's gonna be up 24/7, right?
