I recently re-installed Win XP, and I was wondering if I should really take the time again to reinstall Service Pack 2. Is it really necessary?
(Right now I'm using SP1)

there are a lot of security fixes with SP2, that, and SP1 is no longer supported I believe.

SP2 is t3h bummer. at least for when you compare it to other MS-software
Install it. Your system will thank you for it
Just stream the SP2 into the XP cd if you don't want to install it ever again. I did and added all security updates before jan1 cuz I realized a freshly installed windowsXP should never have internet access before applying SP2. Found that out the hard way ^^'

Ah, ok, thanks. I'll do that. ^_^
How do I stream it onto the CD? (It's the one that came with the computer "For Re-installation of XP")

No, it's not the link to a XP cd.
It's a manual for streaming SP2

um, most comps that come with XP are Media Center or SP2 here. Now though, most stuff sells with Vista.

It's a comp from 2003.
