I've been wondering this for a while and couldn't find anything that works on Google. Does anyone here know how to open Camstudio AVI recordings in VirtualDub? For me, no matter what codec I use in Camstudio to record, VirtualDub will always give me the following error message when opening the file:

Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'FMVC' (unknown)

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

The only AVI files VirtualDub can open for me are the ones generated from my digital cam and Fraps. However, Fraps windows aero desktop monitoring option (to record the entire screen instead of being limited to only certain games) stopped working completely even though it worked before.
