Ok, so I think im good with the laptop hunting. I found THE BEST laptop deal I can EVER get like.. EVER

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320598117255#ht_500wt_1156

I CANNOT believe the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M that comes in this thing. This is nvidia's 3rd best mobile graphics processing unit next to the 470M which is right below the awesome GeForce 480M. :O

Nope.. based on the patterns, id say itll sell out before it ends (14 left atm). Oh well.. I can just wait for christmas and get this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114903

I mean its not too much different, and personally I think its quite amazing for what it is! :D

One thing btw: When you get a laptop, make sure to not overuse it during long periods of time and maybe have something to make sure it won't overheat either. Those things needs to be handled with care. Only be hard on a laptop if you get attacked, your life is threatened and that's your only way to defend yourself, or if you get rickrolled in real life (much worse than the former).

lol! Yeah, don't worry, my dads gonna buy me a case for it when i get the laptop. Also, the heat dispels out of the back instead of the bottom to keep your pants from burning :p. :(... the laptop listing has ended with exactly 10 laptops left. I bet when the last 10 go back up, then they'll just run out in the 1st 2 days or so.. Oh well.

Ah nice, it's good the heat isn't blocked inside the laptop. Still, make sure to not use it in the bed or something. :P

Good luck!

yeah. Also, I think that my eyes are now set to this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0041O42H8/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

it has a LED back-lit keyboard and the super amazing GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5 GB GDDR5 memory supporting directx 11. :)

Something I'd highly reccomend once you finally get the laptop is to undervolt the CPU - it makes it run around 10 C cooler and increases the battery life.

Can it make it much slower/cause it to sometimes shut down under extreme usage, though? I don't know much about electronics x.x

I wouldn't think so..

fb39ca4: there is an eco mode button to save power and a utility to get more battery life if needed :)

Undervolting doesn't decrease performance. It simply lowers the operating voltage, leaving the frequency alone. Some chips are better than others at undervolting so they are all set at a high voltage at the factory. (If it is too low processor errors may occur) Read this for the full explanation.
