Definitely update your graphics drivers. That's one of the first things to do right after you update the os and burn a dvd backup. Just go to the nvidia.com or ati.com or whatever and download the latest drivers. It's no big deal. :Ptongue.gif

example: with the stock drivers (I never updated until recently) of my 9600XT in the desktop that it came with, it overheats when playing doom 3 about 10 minutes in. Lighting is all flickery and crazy and terrible looking in fear and battlefield 2. I finally updated and boom, everything works perfectly.

WOOT! I am using the laptop atm! They let me use it today since my grandparents just came from texas and were too excited to see me playing with it. Much woot. I shall install oblivion and get some playing in as soon as I'm done setting it up, converting things to the way I want, burning backups, and other such things.

@ramman: looks very good. Meh, at graphics card, but it isn't a bad one... just not an uber one. It can probably handle bf2, but not very well. :/ Older games should be fine though. Doom 3, half life 2, stuff like that should probably get mid-low settings on it.

Played oblivion for hours, no overheating. Ran great at uber high settings... until I got to the first bit of action. :lol:laugh.gif In the first fight things started going at 5fps... x_o I set it down to about medium-high settings and it ran beautifully. Battlefield 2 is still installing will report later. Had some hot air coming out the left side though. :)smile.gif No problem for me, since I'm right handed.

ZOMG there are so many pixels. O_O 1680*1050 is more pixels than I know what to do with! Very very nice. Wireless internet is exceptional. I can pick up our network from way down the street! Much better than my buddies'.

Whoah, I can set Counter Strike: Source even higher than bf2. This laptop has really pwnage graphics. crzyrble you need to get some gamez on yours and report how it performs. Yours can probably max out some of these games lol.
