Topic says it... I (My lil compy) had a crash...
After that, Windooze wouldn't start anymore, and I had to install it again.
Now, almost no data has been lost, since I have multiple partitions, but all settings concerning Windooze or that require a registry key are gone, together with links, what means I'll spend the next few hours searching for them ^^
Ah well, a new install was waaaay overdue. All that was holding my windows installation together before were a hell lota alterations in the registry and system files, the system had lives over 4 heavy virus attacks, stupid brothers who can't defy their curiousity, mothers, ~160 different games and plugins. o.o
Rest in peace, oh ya old senile wndooze installation, and hello new shiny one! I will make you prosper under the hand of Spellshaper, the Almighty.
Btw: WinPE helped alot by making it possible to copy the documents and settings folder (which can't be copied normally) to another partition, so I could apply them gaian later

The computer that I am on now crashed about a year or so ago, but it was pretty much for the good. I had a bunch of random stuff installed on it and had a few hundred viruses, and it was getting really slow, and there wasn't really anything important on it. If it crashed now though...I'd be pretty angry.

when my old pentium II crashed in 2004 I lost all the games I made for calcs previous Illusiat 6 and Mana Force. It wasn't a great loss though considering the crappy qwuality of the games, but still it sucks to have to reinstall everything again

yeah, my last comp crash happened because of a brownout, the only thing that worked on it was the fans :-/ I got a new comp, but it sucks major a**, and I need to get a whole bunch of new stuff for it, like a new graphics card.

eeeew... I just found out my slipstreamed version of Xp+Sp2 does not have support for DirectX9.c and OpenGl2.0, though it says it has the files. I can't play ANY games that go beyond dx8 or OpenGl1.1, I just get an error msg.
Oh jeah, and my cd emulation prgm doesn't want to cooperate, either.
Time for some formatting again grr...
cya this evening.
