http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners'_Guide
i dont know how many times i have refered to this to ensure i installed a few things correctly it has all the information you could need ^^

I just got my brothers old laptop, I installed windows 7 on one partition and I am planning to install Arch tomorrow
I'll now be able to be on a little bit more and I'll be able to host bots and stuff, at least until I have to take it with me somewhere
I'll post more about my laptop when I can, I've got a huge amount of updates to do first
