Some (not all) desktop icons are not showing
« on: June 05, 2011, 05:15:10 pm »
When I open my desktop folder on my Vista computer, all the files I kept on the desktop are in that folder.  However, on my actual desktop environment, 2 appear and the rest are not showing up.  Any ideas?

Not sure.  Try right clicking and rearranging them by name.  It might make it recognize them.  Otherwise, can you select them.  As in, are they just invisible?

Have you tried to log out/in
Try what graphmastur said, and if that doesn't work, then...no idea x.x

EDIT: maybe rebuild the icon cache?
