It was slightly necroposting too, as I think iambian solved the issue a while ago, altough the first necropost was slightly relevant to the discussion about which calcs are still used and should have a version of the game for

And yeah. I voted for 4th option. I see half of kid with 83+ and the other half with 84+/SE.
I actually traded my old 83+ with 84+SE with someone, since he said he doesn't need the speed boost and the extra memory, because he doesn't program. That was my birthday gift from him lol.
I think you shouldn't work too much over trying to make it 83+ compatible. More and more users will get 84+, if not 89 or n-spire (please TI, make it more program friendly).

Spoiler For funny life mathematics:
1. ROMANCE MATHEMATICS
Smart man + smart woman = romance
Smart man + dumb woman = affair
Dumb man + smart woman = marriage
Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy
2. OFFICE ARITHMETIC
Smart boss + smart employee = profit
Smart boss + dumb employee = production
Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion
Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime
3. SHOPPING MATH
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
4. GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
5. HAPPINESS
To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
6. LONGEVITY
Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die.
7. PROPENSITY TO CHANGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.
8. DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)
*Girls=Evil credit goes to Compynerd255*

Wow. Necroposting. However, the forum flagged it for me as "new" so I sorta disregarded that.

The poll has been closed (finally) and the verdict...

was in ages ago. This project is being coded for the TI-83 Plus SE / TI-84 Plus (SE). There's no turning back. Too much of the code relies on the extra memory that the higher end calcs have.

What wasn't discussed back when this poll was first established was the fact that the newer 84+'s lack much of that extra RAM, effectively giving it a total of 48KB. This isn't a problem, since the game is being coded to work with just one page of extra RAM.

Thanks for all the input and lobster votes!

EDIT: DJ Omnimaga, is there a feature of this forum that allows posts to NOT bump it to the top? I feel bad that a topic that needs no further input is placed at the top of the list.

Nope, no such feature :(

I guess it's fine tho since it's your own project thread and is on topic

And yeah Netham45 is a lobster almost won the poll :P
