[SC2] A suprising ending
« on: February 16, 2011, 03:23:30 am »
Well, this is quite an epic battle between 2 players:
Yourmydinner (on omnimaga known as SJ1993)
Provider (which I do not know)

Can't tell you much about it, since that would spoil the battle.
Have fun ;)
(Its zipped because I can't upload .screplay's here)

I just watched it and it was awesome. I don't know how I would have survived that attack wave at 16 mins where he had tanks on top of the cliff. One kind of game I like is when you are almost losing but manage to come back.

Also you can upload screplay files btw.

Ah maybe. If only I was able to reach Ultras... I always get owned before I do. Also it's so hard to beat Collosus+Stalkers+sentries because you have to place corruptors in a way that they won't get hit by stalkers. X.x

By the way has anyone ever managed to solo 7 insane computers in a 1v7 team match? O.O

This is my absolute favorite comeback game (Set 1), although you have to create an account to see it.  Believe me, Starcraft fans, creating an account will be worth it

EDIT: And this was when the game first game out, when zerg was underpowered

I have.
Is there any way you can view my profile online to view my achievements?
If so, look up Europe-Ikkerens and post the link here ;)

Wow could you post the replay? I am really curious how you did it because I can't even beat one insane AI, now imagine if the 7 AIs are teamed together against you alone. I tried walling my base but they still destroyed my wall. In SC1 they just moved back and forth.

What is your ID btw because SC2ranks won't let me find profiles without the ID.

EDIT NVm I found it. Also do you need to play custom game multiplayer to get achievements on AI games? I always wondered if it was via create game, join game, which map to use or single player vs ai?

BTW they improved the AI in recent patches so apparently it's even harder now. You can even get rushed by workers along with their regular units.

Yeh, you MUST use multiplayer custom, not singleplayer custom, or you won't get the achie & portrait.
Btw, its 1v7 FFA, not team.
But il upload the replay once I access my gaming computer, have to work in 40 mins.

Oh ok I really thought you had 1v7 team. That would be ridiculous O.O

Also I read somewhere that the best way is to use a shared base map so the AIs kills each others more, but with new patches the nearby enemy keeps drone rushing you. Apparently you need to be protoss and they need to be zerg.

Lol Gomtv.....O_o

I had a really good 3v3 match replay but it was gone with mah laptop formatting O_o
Basically all I did was rushing cruisers while my 2 allies push with mass tier 1 units(The map was Arcane citadel).

Actually they're quite good there, although I usually watch SC stuff on Youtube.

Also I personally dislike rushing to T2/3 because when you get scouted they see you have 2 gas and then rushes you hard. Same for nuke rushes, although if you plan it in team early in the game it can be good. I think generally what can work is if 2 or 3 people gets lots of units to defend and the other person prepares nukes, muta harrass, dt rush, etc. In 1v1 I prefer to open with roaches or something like that.
