I was just wondering if anyone here played Battlefield 2 online? If you do, post here and maybe we can hook up in a battle sometime.
You can also post here if you play at all with anything about the game.

ph34r it :ph43r:
Favorite haunts: the =GUN= clan server (based in the northwest US, so I get nice almost lanny ping) and the JP clan special forces server.
Engineers own all!

BCTurk, believe it or not.
I have about a 1.5 spm. SpecOps is me, but I command most of the time. We should play together some time. I play on pretty much any ranked server w/ punkbuster. I look for servers with somewhere between 8-24 players on at that time.

1.5 ain't bad for a lance corporal. Some of my best friends have crappy 1.1's or one dude has .9something and they are all staff seargeant. I usually play on servers 4-64 players though, just because I like lots of people to smash with my shotgunny badness.
You prolly need to work on your kpm a bit though. .28 is the yuck. I used to play spec ops back when all I had was the demo, but pretty early on, I decided that carbines were sucktastic and didn't do enough damage. Also, I'm more of a charge into battle with the shotgun ablazin' type of guy than a sneak around and c4 flags and equipment type of guy, so I rarely touch the sniper or spec. ops kits. Assault and AT are okay at certain times- AT when there is an annoying tank or apc that's good at avoiding mines and Assault when there are indoors battles (there are lots of those in the special forces expansion) because of the 'nade launcher. Support is fun because the lmg's are great for gunning down entire squads, but problems happen if people notice you first because you have to drop down on your belly to get any accuracy at all. Medic is a great way to get points fast because you can heal and revive people as well as kill the bad guys. Also, the second medic unlock is uber. (must have the expansion for the xtra guns) They are my second favorite kit. Engineer is my general pwn all kit because mines will own enemy vehicles and the shotguns own just about everything else. (The mp7 is fun too, but 'tis just not the same as the shotguns)
EDIT: oh hey, do you have xfire? It is a videogame im thingy which tells you who is online and what they are playing and allows you to join the server they are on by clicking on their name. You can also chat DURING the videogame playing by pressing "scroll lock+x." I think it also has voip support but I'm not sure.

The reason for the low kpm ratio is the command, I'm still working on being a commander and killing people

I get great scores when I'm commander and I must be pretty good at it because I rarely lose a game when I'm commander, but I don't do it too often because I prefer the fps-ness of bf2 more I think.

I get good scores in general as commander, I think I'm 7-1 as commander. It's fun for me, as I play Halo 2 enough for my fps apptite (although, BF2 is a diff. kind of fun, but I'm not as good with a mouse as a controller).

What about xfire though, you got that? It makes it easier to join up with friends already playing.

Yeah, it works on just about every multiplayer game there is.
As far as Halo vs bf2 goes, I think they play extremely differently. halo is like, oh crap someone is shooting at me, turn around, bang bang bang, three pistol hits to the head and muahaha, the bad dude is dead. Bf2 is like, strategy while shooting. Much more uber imho. Halo is fun, but it just ain't the same.
