Cybernations, a fun game

I play a game with some members of a forum called Genmay (short for General Mayhem). The game is
http://cybernations.net/
It's a browser game where you form nations and you can trade and fight other nations. Right now a huge war (so big in fact that it's the third global war in the history of the game) has erupted, and our alliance is under attack by a much stronger one. Unfortunately my squad is comprised of mostly inactive members and we need more people to help. If any of you could join up and send me a PM, that'd be great. My name in the game is threefingeredguy. For your own safety DON'T join our alliance until you're told to. We're being attacked daily by new enemies.
After the war is won (we're allied with one of the strongest alliances in the game so we're bound to win eventually) there will be lots of wartime spoils to distribute. If you don't want to participate in the war, feel free to join up anyway and set your nation to peaceful. However if you do that, you're not likely to get foreign aid until after the war is over since it's a fairly pressing matter. It's a fun game, give it a try

It looks fun, but:
"The Cyber Nations register screen is down for maintenance. Please try again later."

Yeah, the war got so big they decided to close registration. It's the biggest war in the history of the game.

3fg: What is your nation called?
rivereye: What are you going to call your nation?
I'm not sure what I'm going to call my nation, yet.
EDIT: Also, what nation team are you on?

Be on black team. That way we can get trade bonuses.
My name is threefingeredguy of Craggy Island. PM me for info in getting into my alliance. Be very careful that you don't get attacked.

I tried to login today, but:
QUOTE
Since the Cyber Nations forums have been disabled to give everyone a break from things due to the misbehavior of numerous individuals getting out of control recently I wanted to come here and give everyone an update on the status of the game. Along with the misbehavior in the forums over the past week Cyber Nations was also the victim of numerous denial of service attacks in an attempt to bring the sever down by increasing bandwidth beyond capacity. I worked for much of the night on 3/30 and felt confident that I had successfully stopped the attacks against the game. This morning, however, I received a report that something more serious had happened, that the source code for the game had been stolen. I have a good idea when and how this happened based on the date stamp of the stolen files and I do believe that the game databases have not been tampered with but since I cannot be certain of this at this time I have shut down the game to ensure the security of the site.
All of this has occurred during a time that was suppose to be the most joyous and wonderful time for my family. My wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emily Michelle, on Thursday 3/29/2007. She is our firstborn daughter and we have been anxiously awaiting her arrival for quite some time. Unfortunately I have been unable to enjoy her arrival because of recent attacks against the game and other distractions surrounding it. I ask for everyone?s patience and kind thoughts as I work to deal with the threats against the game and enjoy the arrival of our daughter.
Sincerely,
Kevin (admin)
Update 4/1/2007: Cyber Nations will resume game play in a couple of days. The databases are secure and as soon as some updates are made in an effort to reduce update lag the game will be turned back online. Those who wish to continue to attack the game once it is brought back online and those who wish to use stolen source code from the game will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Wow o.o

yeah, I noticed that.
Also, I have yet to be accepted into Genmay alliance. If I do not get a response soon on that, I may start looking into another alliance.
