This miscellaneous forum has too many sad topics- now for a happy one! B)

Hey, have you guys seen the new game coming out this august? Darkstar one- think descent but with new graphics. :lol: http://darkstarone.ascaron.com/gb/gb_darkstarone/home/home.php
It looks to be made of uberness, go dl the demo! Finally a new combat space simulator! Including crazy british accents! XD

Aye, the dl is pretty big, I noticed that too. :o Last demo I dled was bf2 and it was about 600mb if I remember correctly. This one's almost a gig. Still it's pretty cool if you ask me. :)

@xlibman, most new games do, unfortunately. Time for an upgrade, eh? ;) RAM's pretty cheap these days. You can prolly find a 512 stick for $40 USD on newegg no sweat. 1GB for $8-ish. Cheap graphics cards that can run just about everything would be the radeon 9-series.

How do you not have 512MB of ram? Though I do have a crappy video card (it has 64MB of ram,(I CANT RUN BATTFIELD 2! WAAA)).

hehe it doesnt matter to me much really cuz I'm old school gamer mostly (SNES, N64, calcs, PSone, NES), hence I still have Doom 1 and Warcraft I demo and warcraft II on my PC

its true that I was born in the early NES days tho (altough I got my NES like 3 years after the SNES release)
