Not to be rude, but he's not as skilled as I am at programming. He could be, he just doesn't really apply himself.
On a side note, here are some really cool games made with GM. They are the featured ones.

Cool, I'll check the projects there I think, although I doubt I'll have time to participate, not to mention I tend to dislike GM type forums due to generally hostile/immature userbase. (which is why I left the Metroid Fan Mission forums).

Ah ok. Usually on GM-type sites, what I noticed is that people either put the bar way too high (on RPG Maker boards, if your game contains one single trace of the included tiles, your entire game is considered as bad, they're grammar nazis and they want your game to be as good as FF games to like it) or the board is filled with kids who are more open towards any project, but they blow up when for example you ask a question but it was already answered and you missed the answer or other trivial things.
