Mmm-hmm. There's a land dedicated to them. You can buy the eggs and hatchlings and raise your own.
Yays, Pacman!

If you think Second Life is interesting, you should see
http://www.entropiauniverse.com
. If you like sci-fi games, you'll probably love this. It is also a metaverse like SL, but there are actually objects to the game. And unlike WoW, there's a balance between socialization and gaming (and did I mention, it's free - although you can 'seamlessly' exchange money between both the metaverse and the real world). And plus, the physics and graphics are friggin' awesome and are
soooooo
much more smoother.

About the italicized text: does that mean you can lose virtual money to gain real world money?

"Join people from around the globe who use the Entropia Universe currency, the PED, to develop their characters everyday on the untamed planet of Calypso. The unique and secure Real Cash Economy allows you to transfer your accumulated PED back into real world funds."
The exchange rate there is a flat rate of 10 PED <=> $1 US.
And on Second Life -- let me see if I can find it here...
...I think you'll find a little info on their commerce system here:
https://secure-web1.secondlife.com/currency/
And a tip on "hustlin'" in SL (this actually goes for any metaverse out there in which you have financial opportunities):
"Don’t focus on getting rich. Focus on solving problems instead. Second Life, like first life, is FULL of problems. If you can correctly identify a few of them and provide good solutions, the money will always follow."

Woo-hoo, my tower is complete! Took all day to make - especially the awesome revolve-and-fade inner doors. Now I just got to add some more detail...
