I live in Canada so sometimes changes in american stores over here happens much later. I know for example EBGames pretty much became Gamestop in USA but is it really the case? I am asking because earlier today I went to a shopping mall I never went to before and there were both a Gamestop and EBGames store... ??? (both of which had the exact same prices, labels and plastic bags), only difference being that in the used games EBGames had a few Nintendo 64 games and no PSOne games, and Gamestop the opposite.
They seems to be the exact same to me, except the name, but I found it weird that there were two of them in one shopping mall that isn't even that big. ???

Yeah, according to Wikipedia, EBGames is a division of GameStop. And yeah that's kina weird to have 2 copies of the same store in the same mall. Unless they both were there before the merger.

Ah, that might explain why, although both stores were almost identical... in a nearly empty shopping mall too
