Yeah, I don't really want to start Yet Another Minecraft Server... Otherwise, I don't play much Starcraft, so you'll have to convince me AOEII might be a good idea as well and if it don't take up much resources I can run another game besides it. And if a dedicated server exists of course.So yeah, if there's no way to run a dedicated server on Linux, well, it won't work. After a quick Google search, it's not very conclusive for both SC and AOEII.

You can run both actual games with WINE, IIRC.
Also, could a Mumble server go with whatever you choose?
I saw a friend play Starbound recently and it looked pretty neat. That'd probably be my suggestion.

Yeah, most people are not playing Minecraft to finish the game, but to build stuff. Same for Terraria and Starbound.
