Apparently it finally has an analog stick called a "slide pad."  I was wondering when they were going to come out with something like that.
I hope you don't mean the joystick thing on the PSP 3000... I totally hated that...

And nice Calc84 o.O

I will kill you for that last pic, though :P

Nintendo removed the images from their site, so my post now looks pretty lame... :P

Wasn't Kid Icarus like on the old 8 bit NES? I never got into that serie personally but it seems cool

yeah, it was. it was actually a really fun game. unfortunately, though, they stopped making new games in the series a while ago for some reason or another. i'm glad that they're finally making another one.  :D

Yeah me too. From the video, it looked really really different, though. People who didn't play the original for a long while will most likely not even get any memories by looking at the video

Mhmm not a big fan of MGS serie really. I'm not really into that type of games. I am more into RPGs and Mario games. I like F-Zero too, though.

One thing I wonder is if they'll revive the music creation software series. Anyone here besides the older forum members, Cooliojazz and Eddysaints remembers the MTV Music Generator series? The first one was amazing considering it came out in 1999 and I still use it to make most of my music, even thought I know how to use Sony ACID Pro 7 and Magix Music Maker 14

And I seriously hope that joystick is not like the PSP3000. If so, I hope we'll be allowed to still use the d-pad for movement like many PS1/PSP games x.x because trust me, controls with such joystick are so terrible x.x

Holy guacamole, Batman!  This is AMAZING!
I can't wait ;D
I have to admit, though, I'm not a fan of the exposed power button, it looks way too easy to brush up against in the middle of a game...

Oh yeah x.x

Normally I think some handhelds lets you lock the Power button, though. Otherwise I remember using my PSP and accidentally shutting it down during playing x.x

I wonder if the "3D" thing, they'll finally switch from scaled 2D objects and turn them into something more 3D , like trees, for example? It would be nice to see enhanced versions of those N64 games

So far, not to downgrade the awesomeness of this (because it is), it looks kinda of like a N64 remake with better graphics :P (And obviously handheld.)

It seems though that the 3D part of this is just introducing better graphics and such instead of systems like head tracking and such. I could be completely wrong though, I haven't done any research on this. That is just what I've kinda seen from the images and such.

For the power button I'm assuming its going to be a "hold" type of system where you have to hold the button for a few seconds before it shuts down. Would at least make more sense if it is.

The new Kid Icarus game looks awesome!  I'm glad they've revived this series. :)
