Obviously, these people don't watch everything that comes from E-3 the moment it is released.

Hehehe. Wasn't spore at last year's e3 too? Hey speaking of which, how come we don't get to go? We program calculator videogames right? That sort of counts in the industry right?

Yeah, it was at the GDC 05 as well. And write E3, see if they'll let us set up a booth...

I'd have to disagree, the older 2D Asterix games kicked major ass. The arcade, Master System, and Genesis ones are awesome, mainly because they are 2D. I think that a true comic book feel can only be accomplished in 2D, 3D is just whoring it. Asterix for the calcs sounds like a great project.

I still have all my Asterix comic books stacked on my bookshelf (I translated the titles myself, so they may be inaccurate):

Asterix: The Gauls' Hero
Asterix and Cleopatra (my favourite)
Asterix and the Golden Siecle
Asterix the Gladiator
Asterix and the Battle of the Chiefs
Asterix and the Goths

I'm sure there are more, but those were the only ones that were available in my country when I was a kid. If I'd find some more, I'd buy them for sure.

What, you're kidding! I thought they were terrible myself.

Just like the ninja turtles games, a major dissappointment. No skill required just walk to the right and hit the punch button at the right time.
