Terraria - who plays it?
« on: November 01, 2013, 11:50:27 am »
I'm just wondering who else plays Terraria and is interested in playing multiplayer, and possibly setting up an Omnimaga server for Terraria.

I play Terraria. It is fun. I don't know how much bandwidth and cpu it requires for the server though...

I play it every so often. Funny how I'd get addicted to it but not to minecraft.

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

I might as well try it since it really sounds fun.
I got bored of Minecraft one year ago because the vanilla game is lame and managing 50-70 mods is cumbersome. :/ Maybe I'll get back to it when the so called mod api and market place are out.

It is really fun. There's so much more to do in it than in Minecraft :D I also got bored of the vanilla Minecraft.

The thing I like about Terraria is the more old school graphics it has, but on the other hand, since I never got much into building games, I never really played this one much. I know my bro used to play a lot, though.

It doesn't have to be about building, though ;) Terraria is a lot more adventure and combat based than Minecraft. I went through the dungeon once on a world without placing more than a couple chests :)
