ok... fine... have it your way...
i was just trying to help...

and because i tried to help i got a -1... guess i wont ever help you guys again >:[

and the reason i can't just post a link is because the section is private and unless you guys join d3jsp.org you can't visit the page at all...

on top of that i was still asking for permission... so dont just jump to conclusions damn it!
plus i was simply telling the truth... next time i will lie and have a +1... since the truth is rewarded with a -1 and the opposite should result in the opposite too right?

We were simply just making it clear we would not let any illegal link be posted (or links to sites dedicated to warez). I said no illegal link in a post, then you still ask again (even if just for 2 minutes). This seemed like insisting. Now that you clarified I don't think the -1 is deserved anymore, and thanks for clarifying (Btw jsj795 native language is not english either, so sometimes, it might be good to clarify). However, complaining everytime you have -1 is not a good idea, since doing so is what has the highest chances of spawning -1s (and I learned this the hard way on Youtube). Basically, if your post is misinterpreted, clarify then move on.

Personally, for sharing such content, I just do it via e-mail, otherwise, MSN/Yahoo, else IRC /query <nickname> is another solution I use. If the person send a request to you then you can simply send him the thing via one of these. This is the same thing we did with the private SC server.

Yup, I hate when I get facebook friend invites from random people and I don't know who it is x.x

Also good idea for the (at). Also putting spaces between every letter is a plus. Don't worry about people spamming you or anything, but with robots automatically signing up on forums it gets annoying to get full of spam x.x

Anyway back on topic, I haven't played SC in a long while, mostly because I am more involved into calc stuff lately, mostly the TI-Nspire testing and Axe Parser but hopefully, later, I might be able to play. One thing I recommend, if you ever want to play against other people here instead of 1v1, is posting in the sc forum. It's here for planning games anyway, so it can be easier in case someone has PM notifications disabled

yeah...
3v3 micro is really fun...
one of the best game types.. :)

if we could gather 6 people and balance each team's skills now that would be extremely interesting ;D

p.s. i get lost of stupid friend requests of people i dont know as well... i always just click the ignore button lol...

Are you more of a  fastest money map player or more of a legit map player? I know certain people who hate fastest with a passion, but I personally don't mind these type of games as it is different (kinda like melee-based UMS maps). On fastest I play Zerg and on regular I play Protoss, personally. Fastest is cool because it's faster-paced and low-money is also cool due to expansion and higher map variety

yeah... i dont mind either... though most of the time when i play fastest, the game becomes out of control lol...
as in i end up with soo much money i can't spend it all unless i spam carriers or something... (but then i guess thats why its called a money map lol)

but ya... i dont mind either... my best race is protoss for reaver/DT drops depending on what my opponent is, or spam Dragoons and DT at the same time for long term games including money maps. Carrier is my last wave lol... (although i sometimes get bored and play Carrier rush! ;D)

second best race is Terran in which i either spam marines and medic (vs. zerg) or spam vultures lol. (oh... and dont forget tank drop!)
for long term games i build Tanks with a massive amount of Vultures and Goliaths. (p.s. vultures are fun to micro with... my opponents sometimes get pissed because i kill their entire army of zealots with 4 vultures ;D)

and my worst race is zerg... where i spam or rush for mutalisks for no aparent reason ;D

True, I often had this issue. My biggest pb in SC is that I have trouble multitasking x.x. When I play Terran, I often forget scvs all around my base x.x

As zerg, if my money rises fast enough and I have like 10 hatcheries, if one of my ally gets attacked, I'll just send 80% of my units to one of the enemy with overlords while building more and more, then repeat, gradually slowing down to spend money on upgrades and more buildings, as my allies takes over the other enemy bases, then once I am set, I send my next wave of units. SOmetimes I wait the second before they finish upgrading if it's not too long to wait :P

In my case, in fastest, my favourite race is zerg, then protoss, then my worst Terran. For low money, it's protoss then zerg, but I haven't played Terran often on low money.

i see...
i am constantly trying to practice my Terran... so if the game is not a serious one, i will most of the time play Terran.. (and loose half the time :P)
i dont have scv or workers lying around in my base ever because i always use the spare worker command... its default is a function key if i remember correctly...
it will help you greatly since your efficiency will be increased and thus no PSI and time wasted :)

most of the time i am more of an early attack person... since i had a habit of building and building and not knowing when to attack and either end up with a giant army or get killed by my enemies or loose a precious window in which my enemy is defenseless... so i kinda just keep telling myself (ATTACK NOW!!!) lol

It is generally best to not wait too long before attacking indeed. Once you are ready, it's best to attack. If you're in a team, warn your teamates first, tho, what you're gonna do, in case they may help or might be mostly paying attention to their base.

yeah.. i always say "alright... i think i am ready... who wants to join me in attacking (color of enemy player here) now?"
and then mark a place on the map with the alt click mini map thingy to tell them to gather all our units there  :D

its quite effective when the entire team attacks in unison lol... its sooo epic sometimes! :D

ESPECIALLY IF ITS IN SUPREME COMMANDER!!! SINCE THAT GAME IS ALREADY ONE OF THOSE MASSIVE SCALE BATTLES!!! WOOOOOO!
i have not done that kind of thing in supreme commander in a while though... since i reinstalled my computer and lost my cdkey  :'(

so now i only have a cracked version of forged alliance at the moment... i can still lan with my friends, but i can no longer play on the net...  :'(

ever since i have been searching for people who are selling these cdkeys... but i have never found one...

lol I always wanted to memorize that alt click mini map thing. I always forget half of the shortcuts when game starts (which is one of the reason why I mess up almost all my drone/probe splits on low-money maps)

One thing to watch out about when entire team attack is that one ally will get counter attacked, though. That's why I never send all my units when attacking. I have a few defense near my main and keep some mobile units nearby

sorry, just reread this thread, and i see... sorry, schoolhacker, and I took away the -1. Misunderstanding, that's all, and I apologize.

Back on the topic, I play zerg all the time, and 2nd best would be protoss, and last terran. I really can't control terran, because I don't know where to spend money, and usually overflows with mineral and gas even on low money map. With zerg, it's really easy to mass units, so it doesn't involve too much balancing like terran. Protoss just overpowers :)

I like to rush early if it's massive game like 4v4, in BGH or something, but if it's either fastest or 2v2 or 3v3, I tend to build up my units with hydras and mutalisks, and attack whoever I think will cause much threat later.

Spoiler For funny life mathematics:
1. ROMANCE MATHEMATICS
Smart man + smart woman = romance
Smart man + dumb woman = affair
Dumb man + smart woman = marriage
Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy
2. OFFICE ARITHMETIC
Smart boss + smart employee = profit
Smart boss + dumb employee = production
Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion
Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime
3. SHOPPING MATH
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
4. GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
5. HAPPINESS
To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
6. LONGEVITY
Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die.
7. PROPENSITY TO CHANGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.
8. DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)

yeah... i do that too... when i play Terran, i dont send everything... i keep my orignal units that were intended for base defenses... such as tanks and stuff.

as for what to build in terran, just spam marines and medics in early game, or tanks and galioths if your playing back up in your team.
also... if you want to play really strategicly, you can build alot of vultures and micro them... if they are well microed... they are extremely deadly
