They /are/ epic, but insaaaaaaaaanely hard. Also the first Dark Mario chase was medium difficulty IMO.

Yeah the issue with the first Dark Mario chase is the inverted camera controls. With how much turning around there is during the chase, trying to rotate the camera only to end up rotating it in the wrong direction is incredibly frustrating and I almost gave up on the game at that moment. Plus until you manage to successfully throw water while still walking it's pretty much like you were constantly walking on ice when you are about to catch the bad guy.

I also noticed in the first stage that walking around is kinda slippery too, even when not on that paint goo, and hitting enemies can be a little hard. It's really a game that tests your accuracy skills. >.<

I did not move the camera in this stage.

I kinda had no choice to keep some control on it because it sometimes moved to weird angles or didn't automatically rotate fast enough and it got hard to see where I was going >.<.

That said I heard the game had many bugs so maybe I just ran into some. Plus, the Gamecube gamepad is kinda weird, especially the LR and Z buttons. >.< (But at least it doesn't require 30 cm large hands like the Wii U or original Xbox gamepad or three hands like the Nintendo 64 gamepad))

Lol it made the list of worst gamepads ever made a few times. I like the analog pads, though, but you can really feel they were still transitioning from single joystick controls to dual joystick (the ancestor of dual joystick pretty much being the C buttons on the Nintendo 64 I guess)

So now I managed to find a copy of Shin Megami Tensei IV 3DS for $29.99 new (was $54.99). That game is so ridiculously expensive lol (even used it's normally $39.99 despite being released a long while ago). I have to wonder if RPG publishers won't start trying to grab extra cash from their niche of users now that they know that their usual limited print runs will sell for $100 on Ebay in a few years? I doubt it's just because of the Canadian dollar no longer being on-part with US, because other 3DS games still launch at $44.99, not $54.99 (SMTIV used to be $49.99 for both the standard and limited edition but the standard reprint is $5 higher)

I just bought those:

They're used but look in which good shape the boxes are O.O (the guy even re-sealed them to not have to put stickers on them)

EDIT: And they're complete (with every inserts included) and the cartridges are still in their plastic bags.

Thanks. Also, today I did the opposite: I got rid of certain games I no longer really want to use since I never got into them or did not plan to use them much: Assassin's Creed 1/2/Brotherhood (Future Shop bundle), Pokémon Heartgold French (with an unused Pokéwalker), Chrono Trigger DS, Mass Effect Trilogy and Magix Music Maker PS2. It was via the retro game store, though, since I didn't feel like waiting weeks until they sell on Ebay, plus the store gives twice more credits than other stores for most games.

I didn't keep Chrono Trigger DS because I didn't plan to play it much since I already own the PS1 version since a decade. Same for Mass Effect trilogy. I only bought them because they were ridiculously cheap and I actually ended up making a bit of money by selling them back :P. As for Pokémon I never got into the older style games and I would probably prefer the 3D ones, but I got the game for dirt cheap too so it didn't matter much, and I never got into Assassin's creed and juju's bro already had those games. As for Magix Music Maker I just gave it to his bro but the game sucks compared to MTV Music Generator so yeah :P

On the other hand, I got a nice copy of Kirby Super Star for the SNES with both the box/manual included. It was expensive due to its condition but it was like $20 cheaper than on Ebay.ca so I picked it anyway and it's like one of the best SNES game ever. :D

Ah robot tank. it is a really neat game that pushed the system to its limits. The gameplay might be dull compared to today's standard, but back then it was revolutionary.
