You got it from your (rich) family? I got this ASUS core2 duo @1,8GHz laptop for free, but it has all sorts of issues including a 15 minute battery life.

HAHAHA, no. My family is not rich, in the slightest. I got it from theater class in school. Someone donated it, and the theater class just gave it to me...
Actually same here, the baterry that was in it at the time has only a 20 min charge... :/

I just picked up 5 games for €2,50 each. Some are in pretty rough shape, but they play well.
Rayman DS
Wario Ware Touched (DS)
Frogger's Adventure (GBA)
Donkey Kong Country (GBA)
SnowCross(GC)

Not in box, but still nice finds. (Oh who am I kidding, these are all mediocre. The best games on the stack are donkey kong and rayman and they are not in the best condition) The seller put up an ad with a picture showing all kinds of pokémon games, mario 64 ds, yoshi's island etc.  All games in the ad were €2,50. Too bad all of the good games were picked out already. I wished I saw this ad earlier :P

DKC is nice, played it again last night. I iust picked up some long wanted games in the Steam summer sale: Waves, Nimbus, Sine Mora and Universe Sandbox for a total of €11. Not an epic deal or something, but still nice :)
Also posted this from my Wii U :P

Just avoid Pokemon Silver and Gold unless you have soldering skills and feel like replacing the save battery every 5 years or so. In NES games batteries can last decades, but these two Pokemon games use a real-time clock that causes the battery to wear out 10 times faster.

I got pokemon ruby and I crammed a cr2030 in there. It fits without modification and there is no need to get the smaller more expensive battery. It does not look pretty though cause there is no label on the cart anymore, but shit: it was 99 cents. (I'm gonna pop some tags...)

:D, I have yoshi's island. I love that game!
My friend just recently gave me Bioshock. Played it and beat it. Really doesn't tie with the second one very well. >:/

Figured this out recently. I have 2 Silvers and 1 Gold, but none of them save. D: Instead of saving then I just see how far I can get without saving, lol.

Really? :O Both my Gold and Silver (and even Pokemon Red)games still save fine. My Krystal died, but i blame the fact that it went through the washing machine. The game still works, but the save function is toast.

Yeah, the internal batteries ran dry. But every game I have had go through the wash has always come out intact. I kinda find the things indestructible.

I'm gonna get Aladdin for the snes now for €6,50 loose cart. It's not the best price you can get it for, but it saves me shipping.
