Title: [Errors] Graph3
Post by: Happybobjr on January 18, 2011, 03:54:28 pm
Ok I have been fiddling with graph 3d and have encountered some strange issues.

I have an 84+SE on OS 2.53

Here is what to do:

1) install graph3
2) click Y= twice
2a) press 3
3) Enter any equation but make sure that all of it is within abs(
4) Press Graph. you will get err: window range
5) Press y= twice
5a) press 3
6) Press Graph. You will get the same error.
7) Try to delete a program from your memory.
8) Instead of saying "are you sure",  it will say "SAVE THE PLATYPI"

What's the platypi????

An easter egg?

It's probably not a bug (although I've never actually seen it triggered this way before ???).
Normally if you have a non-MP OS (I think...) you can press Zoom twice to see the full easter egg.

What the heck? That must have been made on purpose! So, yeah an easter egg maybe?

Yes, it is an easter egg. Also, I cannot seem to reproduce this on a regular basis, but after fiddling around a little, it seems that when you press "trace" it occasionally crashes.

Weird. By the way hello Xeda. I haven't seen you (I don't think), since I joined.

Oh, howdy. Erm, I am Zeda on the chat thingy. But yeah, just as a tip... Graph 3 is actually better than the 3D graphing of my TI-89t. The only draw back is that the TI-89 has a lot more advanced functions it can use. When I say it is faster, I mean to say that it is faster at drawing and rotating graphs.
