[SOLVED] TI Connect (really?)
« on: February 26, 2014, 09:02:58 pm »
TI Connect is crudding with me again. When I try to copy tileIt! to my calc, it just won't copy (when copying, it says "Garbage Collecting...", and the screen on the calc flashes "Error in Xmit" and then RAM Clears). Again, "A retry may be successful". Does TI have any quality control?

UPDATE: Solved by using the old version (1.1)

Does TI have any quality control?

On TI-Nspire anti-downgrade protections to prevent people from using assembly and C, yes. Otherwise, I don't think so. :P

I personally only managed to get around such TI-Connect issues by garbage collecting, doing a RAM clear (after archiving everything),  turning the calc ON/OFF or unplugging/plugging it. It seems pretty random and weird that this would happen specifically on that file.

Didn't work. It is only for this particular file.

Sorry to hear. You could ask in the TileIt! thread though, since Shmibs made it.
