Branch defined functions NSpire
« on: March 17, 2011, 11:49:37 am »
In the 8x Series I can:
Code: [Select]
Y1= (2.5X)(X>10)
Y2 = (5X)(X<=10)

This meaning:
If x>10, y=2.5x
If x<=10, y=5x

How can I do this on the nspire?

Oh, and if you need to actually take the value on the piecewise graph without having to switch between graphs, you can add them together; e.g. Y1 = (2.5X)(X>10)+(5X)(X<=10). (This is on the TI-83/84)
